I have a similar setup to you with my XR500I went several rounds with tech support to no avail. I am not in the netgear debugging business until they pay me for my time. I have a more serious problem with the device dropping (alarm system) device connections on the ethernet ports. I've resigned myself to the fact that Netgear is no longer the high quality (high price) vendor I had come to believe in.
