Manuals are always a good place to start.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the sections in the manual Use the Reset Button and Update the Extender Firmware.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

I did and found how to make hard reset and it did not Work but not a "recovery" reset.
I should have been more precise. For the firmware update no issue also probably but for the moment I have no Access to the device. A nice brick only. 🙂- olympos1625NETGEAR Employee Retired
Hi colst03,
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. Please the steps from the link below if we can still recover the firmware.

Note: If PC or laptop doesn't recognize the extender when you hardwired it even though you set a static IP, hardware replacement would be the next thing to do. You may contact our support for this one. 1-888-638-4327.
Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need further assistance.

You can try recovering it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9DLrLQrpaw
and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
