EX8000 Green power light flashing green.

I replaced my firmware in January 2022 when instructed to do so and all was fine until 3 days ago.  The unit is off line and the NETGEAR_EXT wireless link does not show up on my iMac computer or iPhone 11 Pro.  I have followed the instructions of the Mac version in "How do I upload firmware to my NETGEAR router using TFTP on Apple macOS?" and have had no luck.  The instructions indicate that I should not press enter for the upload until I have turned the EX8000 power off for 10 seconds and then back on, but the expected green flashing power light turning to orange flashing does not happen and I get the terminal message that the firmware file on my desktop does not exist.  I have tried this multiple times all with the same result.

Any other suggestions out there?

Thank you!

did you start with a factory reset?

Push and hold reset for up to 30 seconds while powered on.

Then give it a few minutes. I've had it take a while to fully boot.

If that doesn't work and you can't get tftp to work, you can try nmrpflash.

Thank you.  I had not done the full 30 second reset in advance so I have started over and retried everything, starting from scratch. I still never get to a flashing orange power light and it still tells me the EX8000-V1.0.1.240.img file does not exist, even though it is sitting on the desktop and have entered the correct information into terminal to access it.

I took a look at the nmrpflash option and I am pretty new to terminal and am not confident enough to try it.  Also, you had a comment in the link that indicated what NETGEAR equipment it had worked on and the EX8000 was not listed.  I guess I am stuck at this point, but thank you for the help.
