Yes, steady green lights on all indicators usually mean the extender is successfully connected to your main router and working normally. If you want, you can share your other questions one at a time, and we can go through them.

Most spectrum techs from level 1 aren't that knowledgeable. I'd look up the actual router model number and see if there's a manual or guide for it for home users to access it. I'm better there is.

I went back to My Spectrum , manage devices, under router I found connected devices, one was the newest 15 days ago was labeled "22:94:01:bd:fd:07" when opening details I see it has AEX12 as part of its name, So I'm convinced it is tied to the network, still can't access to sign into it but if its working that all I need right now. Thanks for all your help. Tim

Would it be convenient to post a screen shot of what the My Spectrum app shows about devices?
One would hope that it describes:
- The IP address assigned to the device by the Spectrum router
- The Hardware MAC address of the device (although many mobile devices default to providing a fake MAC address unless the user specifically directs them to use their hardware MAC address)
There may be a provision in the My Spectrum app for the user to assign a "friendly name" to devices.
I believe the MAC address of the EAX12 should appear on the label on the back:

I went to spectrum, my account, my equipment found devices on network, it showed me 6 or 8 units but the most recent was a 7 or 8 digit thing so no way to tell if even related to mesh extender nothing matched numbers could be one of 2 tablets on network, Is there any 3rd party apps that could show what is all on this network, never knew it was going to be such a hassle, thanks for your time I just keep trying to an answer somewhere, worst case I just do factory reset, but I can't yet need wifi outside for genatorer app to be set up this week, hope it works with extender all lights all steady green, sign in to network with network name and network password which I know is working , thanks all

Is your extender connected to the router with ethernet?
If the extender ethernet is going to the router, then try turning off the wifi in the router. Then if you can reach the internet while connected to wifi, then the extender is working (since the only wifi is coming from the extender).
If the extender's ethernet port is not being used, then you can try connecting a PC to that port (assuming you have a PC with ethernet). Then do the same test - if you can reach the internet when the PC is connected with ethernet (and not to your wifi), then the extender is also working (since it is forwarding the ethernet to your router).

Turn off the extender and take a screenshot of the devices you see on the network. Then turn the extender back on, and see if another device shows up.
You can also try logging into the extender using the instructions on page 20 of the manual:

Managing devices appears to be one of the features of the My Spectrum app:
A WiFi extender, such as the EAX12 may not have information about devices that are connected to the primary WiFi router.

What actual router model is it? Spectrum has had 1 or 2 models that haven't played nicely with extenders.
Sometimes using the installation assistant can help.
Otherwise you do need to be able to log into the router to see what its ip address is.

Which method was used to set up the EAX12?

It appears that Spectrum WiFi routers are managed using a smartphone app called My Spectrum

OK tried to login to my Router from ip address no luck, Spectrum WIFI 6 router talked to Spectrum internet provider, the told me "Our spectrum wifi router do not offer customers the option to log into the router." looking on my laptop , shows network but not attached devices, So is there anything to do with this problem? I've been trying for days, thanks

Spectrum WiFi 6 Router is the router I'm connected to, I try to use Nighthawk to access status, no luck, can't log in, try my Network name and password, no luck, try admin and password, no luck, go to forget password and site that comes up does not go to reset password, when I go to " my wi fi net." no spaces, it tells me I'm not connected to a extender. So I need to log into my router a see if it shows attached devices, the network has same name as extender from "one name" setup so will it show me extender as device? I will try it a let you all know, Thanks
