Extender EX6110 set up
Hello
Hoping someone can help. I have just bought the above extender. I have successfully connected it to my home router (using WPS) however, I'm unable to connect any of my devices to the extender. My devices shows my existing wifi network name (with _2GEXT and _5GEXT at the end) and prompts me to enter a password. The Netgear guide tells me to use the same password as my Wifi router. However, the password is not recognised and I can get no further. I have rebooted both router and extender and reset the extender.
I've also attempted to connect using the Netgear extender assistant. I can connect to the network NETGEAR_EXT. However, I'm unable to access the web browser specified in the guide to access the Installation Assistant . As an oldie, I'm not very tech savvy and I've no idea what to try next. I hope someone might be able to suggest a solution, otherwise they're welcome to call round and collect an unwanted piece of Netgear kit!
Thank you.

If you set it up once using the push button WPS option, then factory reset it and start over using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
Here's a video of how to use the assistant.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I'm still stuck. I did the following.
1 Reset. Power light shows green.
2 Connect (iphone) to NETGEAR_EXT. Power light green, device light green. 'No Internet Connection' Message on device. I understand this is normal.
3. Typed the mywifiext address into the browser on my iphone. Message that 'Safari cannot open the page because not connected to the server' appears on phone. I can go no further this way.
I've also tried accessing the mywifiext website when connected to my router but not connected to NETGEAR_EXT. I'm directed to a NETGEAR page which tells me I'm not connected to my extender's wifi network, as expected. Scrolling down takes me to an option for MAC OS X or IOS (which I assume is right) mywifiext.local. If I select the link, I just get a blank screen indicating an inability to connect.
I'm really not sure where to go next. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Try it not using an iOS device.
See if a windows pc/laptop will work
