Extender for use Netgear R7450
I need to extend the range in my house. What is the best way (and cost effecient) to extend the range of my router to a garage 100 feet away?

Probably bury an underground ethernet wire and connect an access point.
Might even be the cheapest if you bury the wire yourself.
100ft is a bit of distance if you're going through 2x exterior walls.
If we only needed to go 50 feet, is there a plug and play extender that works well with this router?
It all depends. Its not always about distance.
If the home's exterior wall is brick and the shed, it might be blocked 100%.
Certain materials block wifi better than others. And an extender still needs a signal.
Stand where you think the extender will be with your phone and see if you can get a usable signal.
If you don't, the extender won't either.
