Extending an extender?
I have a RAXE300 router installed in an old 1800s farmhouse. It is in the front of the house where the internet drop comes in. Due to interference from stone chimneys I have an EAX80 extender at the back of the house to extend the same SSID to the back yard. This set up works great. I am now building a barn which is 200-300 ft away from the extender and the signal is too weak. I am either looking for a stronger repeater that will reach 200-300 ft, or an outside repeater that can connect to the existing repeater to extend range. I need to keep the same SSID. Any suggestions?

Many people have encountered similar situations and deployed "point to point wireless bridge" devices.
(hint: search Amazon for "wireless bridge point to point outdoor barn")
These units are often rated in terms of kilometers and are able to span 300ft. without even being mounted outdoors. The unit placed in the barn can have whatever WiFi equipment seems appropriate, such as another EAX80, a simple WiFi access point, etc.
There is a very good chance that a mobile device traveling from the house to the barn might drop the house WiFi signal entirely and then connect to the barn WiFi when it gets close to the barn. i.e. having the same SSID might not be required. Certainly not a problem if they are the same, but maybe not necessary.

Hello!
Adding another repeater to extend your Wi-Fi to a barn 200-300 feet away would severely degrade network speed and reliability. The ideal solution is to use a point-to-point wireless bridge. This system uses two directional antennas to create a dedicated, high-speed wireless link directly from your house to the barn, bypassing distance and interference issues. You can then connect a Wi-Fi access point in the barn to the bridge to broadcast a strong signal that uses the same network name as your house.
