extending both 2.4 and 5g at the same time ex7500

Question

I setup my new ex7500 on my laptop everything went as it should. if I connect to the 5 g next work the 2.4 led goes out and the 5 g light turns blue , if i connect to the 2.4 the 2.4 led turns blue and the 5g light turns red. if i connect with an ipad or phone in 5g the light still stays red and the same if my laptop is connected to the 5 g and i connect a phone or ipad to the 2.4 the 2.4 led is still not lit.

What firmware is on your extender?What router are you connected back to?&nbsp;have you looked at the manual for what the led's mean?• Solid blue. Best connection.• Solid amber. Good connection.• Solid red. Poor connection.• Off. No connection.&nbsp;Are you unable to connect to the 2.4ghz and 5ghz at the same time (from different devices)? I updated the the firmware to the current available . modem is a zyxel emg2926-q10a.&nbsp;&nbsp;

yes I know what the leds mean . if I am connected to 5g on the laptop the 5g light is blue and the 2.4 is not lit and regardless of what devise I connect at 2.4 the led stays out. if I am connected on the laptop at 2.4 the 2.4 led goes from un lit the blue and the 5g led goes to red , and if I connect any other devise at 5g the led still stays red .

So it seems to work when I connect with the laptop but nothing else.
