How to extend wifi using two routers?
Hi guys,
I have a house and a granny flat at the back. I have the internet connected (Optus Cable), the speed is fabulous however the granny flat at the back can't seem to get signals from the mode...

Hi soloko2412,
Welcome to the community!
Are all 3 devices being used simultaneously? If so, please provide a diagram of your network for us to provide a better recommendation.

Hello Dexter,
Thanks for your reply.
I was using the D7000 when I used to have ADSL connection, I recently switched to Cable connection.
Currently, the two modem/router that I have been using are:
1 - Netgear Cable CM500V-1STAUS
2 - SAGEMCOM F@ST 3864V3 ACI have attached a diagram for you. There's an enthernet port at the granny flat that I used to connect the ADSL modem (when we still had to use ADSL connection) from the main house to the granny flat.
Thank you.

Hi soloko2412,
Is there an Ethernet cable running from the main house to the granny flat? If yes, then you can configure the D7000 as an access point as described on page 112 of the user manual on this link.
