try connecting to 192.168.1.250 and that should prompt the extenders login.

Attempting to check the firmware in my extender; EX7300 – AC2200 Nighthawk X4 WiFi Range Extender / Serial # 4FM4685E01A6F and cannot access the device.
Tried the suggested address (192.168.1.250) ... getting 403 Forbidden. Had also tried the Netgear directions ( www.mywifiext.net etc ) without success / response "You are not connected to your extender's WiFi network"
Am connected to the Extender as directed but with no luck.
What's next?
Thanks!

ps: the above note is from my desktop server (Dell Inspiron, Win10 etc) ... access to the extender using my laptop (Chromebook) succeeded

Are you able to log into your router and find your attached devices page and find out what the IP address of the extender is?
