I am using a netgear WN3000RPv3, with ATT Uverse U45, not connecting at 5ghz

I am using a netgear WN3000 rpv3 extender with newly installed ATT Uverse U45 highspeed fiber optic internet.&nbsp; The extender is showing a 2.4GHZ connection.&nbsp; The ATT Router has two signals one at 2.4GHZ and another at 5 GHZ,&nbsp; At 2.4GHZ connection my internet wireless connection speed is 24mbps, it should be around 45 mbsp, if it is connecting at the 5GHZ.&nbsp;&nbsp; Is the netgear WN3000rpv3 capable of connecting and extending that internet speed
