I can connect to my extender but can't open any web pages. The wifi connection that it is extending

I can connect to my extender but can't open any web pages. The wifi connection that it is extending works but when I connect via my extender It says...This site can’t be reached The connection was reset. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall Running Windows Network Diagnostics ERR_CONNECTION_RESE

    Do you have any type of access control list set up on your router? have you added the mac of the extender to the list if so?
