I cannot connect AX1800 WiFi Mesh Extender wirelessly to ATT U-verse router through apple nighthawk
I cannot connect AX1800 WiFi Mesh Extender wirelessly to ATT U-verse router through apple nighthawk app on Iphone 10 Xs. Has anyone else experienced this same problem? If so, how did you resolve the it? Thank you :-)

How are you going through setup?
Are you using wps?
Are you using the installation assistant?
Where is it failing in the process?
What firmware is on the extender?
Details help us more than "cannot connect"
I'd highly recommend hardwiring into the extender and using the installation assistant.
I am going through set up using nighthawk app on Iphone, at the point of using Netgear ext. I'm not able to log in to it becuase "password is not correct". However I can log in to Netgear account OK. I did try to use WPS assistance with no luck. For the firmware, I'm not sure what that is. Standards-base WiFi Security(802.11,128 bit AES encryption with PKS? Right now I do have it hooked up directly to the router via cable.

If you're hardwiring it into the router, then you need to set it up in access point mode.
If you plan on using it as a wireless extender, then disconnect it from the router. I just meant to hardwire a pc/laptop into it for setup instead of using the app. Tends to go smoother. Just make sure to disable the wifi on the pc/laptop you connect to it so it doesn't defautl back to the wireless during setup.
