I cannot get my WiFi range extender to stay connected to my Ring2 doorbell

I have spent hours on the phone talking to Ring Doorbells support. They were unable to help me keep my Ring 2 doorbell connected to my AC750 WiFi Extender.  I tried everything. I have the extender 4 feet from the ring doorbell.  I can connect to it the extender easily with my iPad andiPhone X’s. Can anyone suggest a fix?  I have a model EX3700.

    1. What is the FW version of your extender? 

    2.  Have you tried connecting your Ring Doorbell to the main network (router/gateway)?
