I have a WN2500RP. Error = The server www.mywifiext.net is asking for a user name and a password
I bought a used WN2500RP from Amazon. The set up was easy but as part of enabling "FastLane Technology, I am supposed to go to www.mywifiext.net and access the Advanced features. However, whenever I try to connect to the page, I get a login page requesting User Name and Password, and text that says, "The server www.mywifiext.net is asking for a user name and a password". I used the WPS set up to connect to my router, so there was never any user/password setup. Does anyone know what this login screen is for and where I might get a user name a password? I did set up an account with Netgear but it is not this User/Password that it is looking for. I tried that. It is also obviously not looking for my home network credentials, although I even tried that. Does anyone have any ideas?

The default username and password are admin and password, respectively. If these don't work, you can reset the extender to factory defaults by pushing the reset button for 8 to 10 seconds.
