I'd like to sset up my R8500 as a range extender or repeater.

OK, "TheEther" that sort of did it. I can print and scan from all my devices & PC's. I can see the printer from everywhere on the network and vice-versa. I cannot connect the printer to the network using either the router, printer or any of the PC's connection links, but that doesn't really matter, as long as the dang thing works, right? Anyhow, thanks much for the help. Couldn't have done it without you!
Connect the R8500 to your Verizon router via Cat6 cable and enable AP Mode on the R8500. Repeater functionality doesn't work well on Netgear routers.
OK, I'm going to give that a try. Really looking forward to seeing how the R8500 works, I've heard so much about it! I'll keep you posted.....
