Intermittent Orange Light on Extender

Hi.&nbsp; Newbie.&nbsp; I have a EX2700.&nbsp; My device-light alternates between orange/red and green, each staying on for 5 or 10 seconds.&nbsp; What's going on?&nbsp;Also, what is range of extender?&nbsp; I get good download speeds at location of extender, but not on my computer.&nbsp; If the extender is working properly, should it be relaying wi-fi signal at speed that it receives it?&nbsp;Thanks!&nbsp;Tony&nbsp;

&nbsp;

1. What is the firmware version of the extender?

2. Is it the Router Link LED or the Device Link LED?

3. Have you tried changing the wireless channel and checking for wireless interference?

4. How is the computer connected (wired or wireless) and is it connected to the extender or the main network/router?

5. Speeds from the extender will be lower compered to the speeds from the main network.
