Is Nighthawk X6S ES8000 compartible with WiFi 6

Thinking of buying the Nighthawk X6S ES8000 WiFi extender. I want to future proof it, and would like to know that it will be compatible with WiFi 6 (802.11ax).
Does anybody know?

    Do you mean the EX8000?

    There isn't an es8000.

    The EX8000 isn't a wireless AX device but that doesn't mean it isn't a great extender. its a triband and has much better speeds than a standard extender does because it uses 1 of the 5ghz bands just for router-----extender communication. None of the currently released AX extenders have the triband option. 

    It it does work on AX. I've used an EX8000 connected to my RAX200.
