LAN passthough on Netgear PR2000 (Trek N300)
How do I enable my Netgear device to allow my existing LAN to be passed through to all connected devices - that is the Netgear to be transparent to all connected devices? I have Netgear Trek N300...

Hi DarrenM
Thanks for responding to my post. Much appreciated.
Yep, as mentioned, when I disable DHCP on the PR2000 it 'falls over'. Specifically I get zero connection.
I don't know what my next steps are now - other than simply to bin the PR2000.
cheers
Edward

Do you have the latest firmware 1.0.0.15?

Hello Edwarduk
I was looking in the PR2000 settings and at the top of the Internet setup settings page there is a enable ap mode check box have you tried that?

So I grabbed some time to look at this again and got things to work.
I reset everything and started again.
I let the automatic wizard do its thing.
Seems I tripped up on a couple of things which got me confused:
1. Once I connected to the netgear wirelessly and the auto wizard did its stuff I had to 'forget' the Netgear connection as it's settings changed (On win10 > Network & Internet Settings > WiFi > Manage Known Networks > select the Netgear network and 'forget it'). Then reconnect to same Network using same password.
2. In File Explorer > Network I had to reset the discovery mode again (to 'see' my network drives'). Eseentially letting Windows to trust the new network.
Job done. The main thing is that the Netgear network changes by then wizard and needs forgetting otherwise one can't connect.
I took the chance also of changing the default SSID and password (each time needing to forget network and reconnect).
Thanks for your help Darren
