Linking an access point to a range extender

I already have an EX6000 set up (via ethernet cable) as an access point; this is at some distance from the router.  I now wish to extend further.  Can I link my EX6000 access point to another EX6000, the latter acting as a range extender ?

    Hello ric888,

Connecting the extender to the access point is definitely doable but there could be a decline in performance for devices connected to the extender. You may want to look into connecting both extenders to the routers instead.

Thanks for this.  However, my issue is that our house is quite long, so linking the second extender to the router will not take the wifi signal any further.  I need a way of leap-frogging.
