Moving WPS connected wall plug Netgear extender

Question

I have just connected my wall-plugged Netgear extender to my new modem via WPS successfully. I have placed the extender halfway between where my modem is and where the area with the poor wifi connection is. I am wondering if, now that it is connected, can I move it to the area where the poor wifi is? Or will it disconnect?

the problem with wifi extenders is they still need a signal to pickup and rebroadcast. If you move it to where there isn't a signal, it has nothing to pick up. Its why its usually recommended to be halfway between the router and the area you want to cover.&nbsp;
