MS60 not connecting with nighthawk c7000v2 modem router

Question

I've been trying to setup our new Mesh Router system (ms60), using a Nighthawk C7000V2 cable modem router as the router. Is it possible that the Mesh system won't connect properly due to the modem being a modem router? Do we need just a modem to connect our Mesh system?

do you have the MS60 setup in access point mode or the C7000 in modem only mode?&nbsp;Otherwise you're in a double nat.&nbsp;https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Thank you for your reply. How do I put the C7000V2 into modem-only mode, and is that the same (or different) than bridge mode? Also, is it easier to just get a modem, separate from my modem router?

Also, what is access only mode on the MS60? Sorry I'm such a newbie, but I'll take all the help I can get. 🙂&nbsp;
