The one that FINALLY worked (thank God) is that I reset my settings back to default and then started over. (I didn't even get to try the NEtwork Profile deletion)

Are you experiencing the same connection issues when you connect to the WN1000RP with another computer/device?

Yes....my wife can't connect either now. I will check those links out and see if they are helpful.
I saw this on another thread:
"Hi JJ249,
Please confirm that the reset was a reset to factory defaults (page 31 of 35) :http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WN1000RP/WN1000RP_UM_20Feb2013.pdf
Which router is connected to the WN1000RP?
On the device (such as laptop) that you are using to the WN1000RP, can you please delete the Network profile and reconnect?
For example, on a windows PC, you might already have in your networks the profile to your extender. Remove this network profile and reconnect."
How do I do this?
Thx
Lee
