MyWifiExt.net set up

I bought a Netgear wi-fi extender at a yard sale, set it up manually, and it was working great for days. Today, suddenly, it stopped working and wanted me to set up a new extender set up on mywifiext.net. It wouldn't give me an option to log in and when I tried to create a log in, it said my username and password were wrong. I reset it to factory defaults, and the internet is working now (that's how I'm able to post this), but mywifiext.net still won't let me set up an account or log in with the default credentials. What should I do if this problem arises again?

      Hello jedinikina

The only thing you could do is to factory reset and try to hold down the reset button for 10 seconds. Since you bought this second hand the product could be already registered to someone else.
