N300 not accepting password
I have an N300 Range Extender. I set it up and it worked fine for 2 months. Then I started getting a log-in screen whenever my iphone tries to connect. Usually it connects seemlessly with no issue...

I would try a factory reset again make sure you hold down the button for a full 10 seconds if not the device may be locked up. If your still under warranty I would contact Netgear support.

Thanks DarrenM, I've reset factory settings several tmes for at least 10 sec, but it did not help. I wonder if it got fried by a power surge...

UPDATE: After multiple attempts, I was able to get it up and running sort-of. I still can't access. mywifiext.net, but I got it so my iphone now connects automatically to the extender, but my wife's ipad and computer still no longer connect to it. They still get asked for the password, and when entered, it is still regected by the extender as the wrong password.
