N300 Resetting Requirement For a Different Network
What is required to set up a N300 model WN3000RP extender in a different location from the original setup location, using the genie Smart Setup procedures? The NETGEAR_EXT does not come up when viewing available networks on my iPa which, is step one. Does the procedure require the device to be 'reset' before a new location can be set up?

If you are connecting the extneder to a new router then yes you would need to factory reset the unit if you are just moving it and staying connected to the same router than no you would not need to.
