N300 Wifi extender

Hi all,

 

I just connected an N300 extender.  When connected to the extender, I can access the internet with no problems.  But, when I connect to the main router directly, I have no internet access.  Is this normal?

    1. Please make sure that the extender is connected to the main router's SSID (WiFi name).

    2. What is the model number of your router?

    3. Are you able to go online while wired to the main router?

      Hi.  Thanks for the info.  I've been busy at work so I haven't had time to answer.

       

      I rebooted the router and extender and now everything seems to be working.  Thanks for the assistance!
