Name change issues

Question

I bought the AC750 WiFi extender because I bought blink cameras and one of them was slightly too far away from the modem and router so the battery wont stop draining and my camera won’t work like it should. I was told by blink support that I need to make sure the name of the WiFi extender is exactly the same as the modem and router. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the name because none of the websites on the nether website that they state you are supposed to use do not work. They will not load for me at all whether connected to the extender or the main WiFi. I need help because honestly I don’t even remember how I set this thing up because it was too confusing and I just did a bunch of random stuff till it connected itself. Please help&nbsp;

Enter the actual model number from the product label into this web page:
https://www.netgear.com/support/home/downloads
and you can find the User Manual for this specific model.
There will be a section on how to set the SSID (name) of the extended network.

I agree with CrimpOn​ . An actual model helps. many of the AC750 (its a speed) devices are pretty old and low performing. They also don't always include the "mesh" or "one wifi" option that combines ssids and lets devices roam between them.&nbsp;
