Netgar 3700 wifi extender - am unable to reconnect it to my wi fi

My extender worked fine until a few days ago when my provider and I signed a new wifi contract, they did some remote fixing to my router and the wifi worked fine with the same network and password name so I did not check the extender. I realized a few days later the extender does not extend. I checked the extender the green lights work but the name of the network (the additional one that I used with the extender) disappeared from the network list. I tried to reset the extender unplug it and plug it into the electricity socket but nothing happens. I have no clue how to re-set it up. I got the extender from a family member last July I do not have any information about the date he bought it. I cannot log in with the serial number (it says it is not correct but it worked last time). To cut a long story short, I have no working extender. Thanks for your help.

unplugging and re-plugging just reboots it, not resets it. I'd do a full reset and reinstall. I'll walk you through the reset and then link to the support site that has install manuals, guides, and even videos to walk you through. it even has videos of the wps and the smart connection setup wizard.

to reset it, while its fully powered on, push and hold the reset button. should be 7-15 seconds. the lights will change when its been held long enough.

Once its reset, follow the install guide. You can try wps method first (easiest) but not all manufacturers (especially isp routers) sometimes have poor wps implementation. So if wps doesn't work, then try the smart connect wizard.

here's where you get those videos, guides, firmware, manual.
