NETGEAR AC1200unable to set up
Hi guys,
I am far from any computer amateur and cant set up my range extender. I cant even find the "Netgear' network or wifi icon on my computer to locate it for the set up process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have the EX6110?
what firmware is on it?
what router are you connecting it to?
did you try factory resetting (incase was already setup prior)?
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
what are the led's on it doing?

I know that Netgear's community is a mess, but asking about range extenders in a section given over to WiFi Adapters may not be the best move.
Range extenders and WiFi Adapters are very different beasts.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
