Netgear AC1900 not connecting to Surfboard SB6190
I purchased a Surboard SB6190 to use with my Nighthawk AC1900. Before the Surfboard I had the modem/router xfinity supplies and used that along with the AC1900 and it worked perfectly. I tested the surfboard connected directly to my iMac and it works perfectly. I then connected the surfboard to the AC1900 and I get no WiFi connection.I used the same Ethernet cable in both situations and tried resetting both devices but no luck. When I use the smart setup I get"Your access point has no connection to the router.Check your Ethernet connection." But I know the Ethernet cable isn't the problem

AC1900 is a speed.
And you put EX7000 in the signature line. Is that what you have? if so, you need a router. The ex7000 doesn't have an integrated router and the SB6190 is a modem only device. No router.
