Netgear EX6150 multiple issues
HI just bought one of these today. powered up and can connect to my Netgear dng3700 modem/router without any problem and can connect wifi units to the extender. Problems: (1) My dng router uses an internal address of 192.169.0.1 so if I try to connect to mywifiext.net I keep geeting error messages of server not available/timeout etc. reset my router tinternal address to 192.168.1.1 and yes I can now access mywifiext.net but it keeps taking me to the "New Extender Setup" page I have tried connecting to the admin page via wireless and direct wired to a laptop but everytime it is the same "New Extender Setup" . Suggestions please would be appreciated :)
Sorted it out. had to do a reset then connect directly to a laptop before making any wifi connections. Was then able to go through the "New Extender Setup" and then into the extender admin page. Would seem the instalation booklet that comes with the extender is a bit back to front as it says connect to your wifi setup first then go to mywifiext.net page.
