NetGear ex6200 ssid question
I purchased this netgear NetGear ex6200 extender to get better signal to the back part of my house and yard. It wants to take my current SSID from the main router and add the EXT extension to it. but my question is can I over ride this and just give it the same SSID that my main router has now so that devies will attached to the same SSID regardless if its hitting the main router or the extenfder box. I have several laptops where youi might be waling from the front of thre house to the back or back yard and want the laptop to just keep the connection to the same SSID and not have to switch to a different SSID to maintaoin good signal. Thoghts? Greg

Hello Gregh2711- Yes, you'll be able to change the SSID of your extender by logging into the extender's admin page. Please refer to page 30 of the manual.
