I believe you should be able to use the same SSID as the main network. Just be sure to use a different channel.
AFAIK, the EX7000 cannot simultaneously support a guest network in addition to the main network. It would have no way of segregating the traffic while backhauling it to the router.
You could probably use a second extender just for the guest network.
Thanks for the reply. I'll give that a whirl when I get back home. I've got it setup with a different SSID now, wich means I've got 4 different wifi networks airing at the moment. (5 if I enable the guest network.) I'd definately like to reduce that number again. (maybe its a good idea to stop the network from broadcasting aswell.)
