Netgear site infected
FWIW. Tried to get into www.mywifiext.net. All I got was a malware program called PC accelerate. The malware produces a pop up ad that blocks all access to the majority of the screen. Does anyone know how to get rid of it. I can't get to the remove program app in control panel as the p[op up ad blocks the view of the control panel screen

Are you sure you typed it 100% correctly? There are several near-misses that aren't hosted by Netgear.
On removal, Malwarebytes say they can remove PC Accelerate (using their free antimalware package). https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/186003-removal-instructions-for-pc-accelerate-pro/
