NETGEAR WiFi Booster Range Extender EX6120

Hi,

I am hoping someone more knowledgable than I can help with this.

I have been using the Netgear Wifi-Extender (EX6120) since January with no problems then this morning it decided to kick all my connected devices off. I have restarted the router it is connected to (with no effect) and in the end i did a factory reset on it. I have updated to the latest firmware and can get access through the 5Ghz channel but cannot get the 2.4 to allow internet access.

Won't allow my iphone or laptop (both rebooted).

Any ideas why this might be the case?

I really need the 2.4Ghz to work as things like the camera in our baby room will only connect to 2.4.

If anyone has any ideas i would be truely grateful!

What router is it connected to?

Are you installing it using wps or using the installation assistant?

Try factory resetting it, push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on, then install it using the installation assistant and NOT wps.

      Hi,

Thanks for replying. It is a Vodafone hub / router it is connected to and I was using the online wizzard not the WPS. I have reset it a few times as you suggested with no success unfortunately.
