When it happens, log into the extenders using its ip address and check its connection back to the router. many times I see people put extenders to far out of range and they drop frequently. An extender should be midway between where you need coverage and the router. Otherwise the extender doesn't have a decent signal to connect to

I moved it as far away from my PC as possible, while still being able to keep a wired connection. I logged in as told and the website makes it look like there's a good connection (see attatched image). But on my PC it always has one or two bars for a wireless connection and now the whole thing disconnects every 15 minutes or so.

Your pc is hardwired into the extender? If so, it shouldn't have any wireless displayed. If it is, you're connecting with the wired and wireless and it might be defaulting to the wireless connection versus the wired one. You can go into the computer and disable wireless to force the wired function
- Falco4077May 19, 2024AspirantI turned off the wireless on my PC. It lasted a little longer, but it's still dropping the connection. I'm thinking the extender may be faulty. I've only had it since January, but this issue is happening more and more frequently.
