Netgear WNDr3400 V2 end of the line??

Question

Hello,  I am a comcast blast subscriber.  I believe that my modem may be too old and not able to handle blast.  I am looking at DOCSIS 3.0 models, probably motorolla.  My question is about my router, though.  I have enjoyed good performance out of my netgear, but i am wondering if i need to get a newer model along with a new modem?  I plan on getting a Motorola SURFboard SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem  with my 3400 be fine?  do you have a better recommendation?  THanks a lot

They used to have netgear.com/eol but no longer exist.

If you like to know if unit will be EOL or not then contact support directly via portal
