Netgear WNR3500l Question.
Hi so I'm not 100% sure how to ask this question but here I go, First I have AT&T DSL Internet service, and I have a Netgear router connected to AT&T'S 2Wire gateway/modem. My question is which one is acting as the Hardware firewall, and which would be most secure?

- Retired_MemberThe question is how is the 2-wire setup? Bridge mode or router mode. You shouldn't have a router connected to another router in router mode. Is the 2 wire in router or bridge mode. If in router mode then it is the firewall.

Well I have it set up like this, I have the wireless turned off on the 2Wire, and have the Netgear connected to the 2Wire. So I guess it's in neither bridge mode, how should I go about making the Netgear the main hardware firewall? - Jcwisgod69Aspirant
