Hi, bought a new netgear c7000 for the router. Can get my old netgear98 ext. To see the network. It the ext to old? Should I just get a new one? Need a little more connection up stairs. Thanks! Rwshas

What extender model do you have?
Did you set up the C7000 to use the same network names/passwords as your old router?
