NetgearWN3000RP

Hi, I purchased my wifi extender around a year ago. I have just tried setting it up but have encounterd a few problems.

I tried contacting netgear support to find they do not offer e mail support after 90 days unless I am prepaired to pay for the privilage.

Which I am not.. So I thought I would try the "Netger Community"

I started to set my extenter up by first inserting it into a power socket, (as instructed) close to my router and waited until the the "router link led" illuminated along with the "power and WPS LED'S".  Having accomplished this I then transferred my extender down stairs and again inserted it into a power socket close to my wifes tablet. Although all of the above led;s illuminated the "client link led" did not, what am I doing wrong or missing out. Please afvise.  Derek
