Network Name

I connected my DVD home theater to the Ethernet port on the extender. Everything connnects just fine. However, now the name of my network for my ethernet connected desktop to the main router is changed to  "network_EXT".  That should be unchanged, without the "_EXT" suffix. The wireless network name is WITHOUT the "_EXT" suffix. This is just the opposite - what gives?

By default when you setup the extender it adds the _ext to the network. Is that causing some type of conflict or issue?

Hmmmm - I looked further and itlookslikeit may be a Windows 10 event.  Going into the router, the SSID is correct for the ethernet connection. The extender does have the proper _EXT suffix on all other wirelessly connected devices (smartphones, iPad, etc.).  The incorrect name only appears on my ethernet connected desktop - it has the correct IP address for the router. It seems that when I connected the DVD/Amplifier to the ethernet port on the extender the SSID of the network appearing on my desktop changes. I will search Win 10 situations.
