Nighthawk M6 Pro heat mitigation

Having troubles with heat warnings on the M6 Pro while using outdoors. The two things I’m considering doing are: removing battery and powering with power bank and/or turning off WiFi on the hotspot and running Ethernet to a mobile router with an internal fan.

Anyone have any experience with M6 Pro overheating? What was the solution?
