Nighthawk Roaming

Hi reluctantly i have had to ask the audiance lol. i have my new Nighthawk set up and all lights on and connection appears to be solid. i have a good internet service via my Virgin Hub 3.

When i log onto to extender it tells me everything is green on both 2.4 and 5GHz

So everything should work perfect

No the only advantage has been the wifi extender but no roaming and definately no internet.

Your help would be very much appreciated.

    Did you set it up via wps? If so, try the installation wizard.

    What actual router did you connect to? not all ISP supplied routers play well with extenders

    What firmware is on the extender?

      Did you set it up via wps? Yes and it seems to have set up ok as i get all white lights and all green on the extenders browser

      If so, try the installation wizard, Not sure if its going to be any better.

      What actual router did you connect to?

      not all ISP supplied routers play well with extenders

      What firmware is on the extender. V1.0.1.206

       

      As i said it all appears to be set up properly but internet is a no go and it doesnt roam which was one of the benefits i wanted.
