Nighthawk X4 WiFi RANGE Extender will not connect to WiFi

PLEASE HELP

I have 2 Nighthawk Range Extenders and they have been working fine. This morning we lost internet connection and once the service returned, neither extender wants to re-connect to the access point device. I have ATT Service Provider and their device is the access point device and where the WPS button is located. Any help is appreciated because it's impossible for both devices to go bad at the same time. They are located in different parts of the house.  I've tried all the steps in the Quick Start Manual but neither will connect.  I placed them within 3 feet from the WiFi device like I did when I first set them up.

Thank you

Alright I was finally able to connect 1 device.  I have 2 Extenders and they are both set up the same way...passwords, etc......same configuration.  One which is the closest one and inside the home is connecting to both 2GEXT and 5GEXT bands and password is correct.  The one (extender) which is a little farther, only connects the Netgear_2GEXT.  Originally when I purchased them, I purchased the one which is the "closest" and always I was able to pick up the 2GEXT-5GEXT.

Later (2 months) I purchased the second one which I configured the same as the first but when I placed it in the farther location, it only connects the 2GEXT.  When I try the 5GEXT it won't.

I thought it might have something to do whith the distance. So I plugged it in where the closer ext is now, but also only connects to the 2GEXT. When I try to connect to 5GEXT it asks for the password, which all are the same but gives me an error message of "wrong paasword".

For some reason I've never been able to connect the second device to the 5GEXT and only 2GEXT band even though both have the same configuration and plugged into the closer location as the other one.

Is it something with the configuation, same passwords, perhaps configure the second to only see the 5GEXT, etc.

I had to POST here since I couldn't find how to reply a second time to your original solution.

        Thank you
