Nighthawk X6 AC2200 no longer broadcasts
Hello.
My three-year-old AC2200 no longer broadcasts, my fault for knocking it off my desk. Bose and Apple have trade-in policies for defunct products, giving you some credit to encourage you to stay with their brand. This extender wasn't cheap for what it does and I see no reason to stay with Netgear rather than try something that may be a little more hardy.
Can anyone think of any reason to stay with Netgear?

Do the led lights come on for it?
Did the on/off button get hit? (both for power and wifi on/off)
The wifi on/off button needs to be pushed for 2 seconds .

Thanks very much for your message.

Yes, although every button except for the double arrows is now faint.

The on/off button is on; the unit has throughput but no WiFi signal
The wifi on/off button needs to be pushed for 2 seconds .
There are only two buttons on the X6: a WPS button (which is for an automated connect) and the on-off button. There is no physical WiFi button.

Its does have a wifi on/off button.
Not sure what router you have as AC2200 is a speed and not a model.
But go to netgear.com/support/
type in its actual model number.
it'll take you to the support site with manuals. the manual goes over which led is the wifi on/off button. push and hold it for 2 seconds.
