Hello KFIscher
Make sure when doing the factory reset you are holding the button for 10 seconds.

Hello DarrenM,
I did as you said. The power supply LED on the repeater turned orange and then green again after a while. I the pressed the WPS buttons bothe on the repeater and my router until the WPS-LED's on both devices started blinking in regular intervals. After about a minute the LED on the repeater stopped blinking, but the WLAN connection LED on the repeater in the top roght corner of the device remained dark throughout, i.e. no connection.

Have you tried manual setup by connecting to the extenders wifi then going to www.mywifiext.net?

Dear Darren,
I tried once more to set up via browser. It works to the point when I try to connect my smartphone and tablet to the network. Although I enter the correct password for the extension, i.e. the same used base network, I get an error message "authentification error". The repeater is less than 1 meter from both router, PC and other devices, so the distance cannot be the problem. The network extension can be seen in smartphone and tablet, but I cannot connect to it.

Hello Kfischer
Make sure the security type for the routers wireless is WPA2. you could also do a test remove the password from the router and try to connect the extender see if that works could tell us if its a issue with the encryption.
