Dear DarrenM,
sorry that was my mistake. The router is called o2 HomeBox 6641, made by a Chinese Company called ZyXel Communications Corporation. The PN (probably product number?) is VMG7947-B40A-DE01V2F. Hope that at least identifies the router.

The other thing I could think of is maybe the Mac address of the extender needs added to a allow list in the router settings.
