Orbi satellite crap the bed?

Randomly, today, my Orbi satellite stop having good connection. After many hours of frustration, factor reset on both satellite and router, I am at a loss that my only conclusion is that the satellite has crapped the bed.

For hours, I could not sync the satellite with the router. Finally, I just did a Ethernet between the two and it paired. Then I moved it back to where it’s always been for 4 years and it powered up and showed blue. Great, right? Well, no. The light was blue on the device but the network map is showing yellow, poor connection in the app. Huh? Now my house is back to what it was before my Orbi. Dead zones in places throughout the house.

Any suggestions? I’m actually a very good tech guy. I can usually always troubleshoot my way into a solution. But this has defeated me leaving me only one reason: broken.

Because posted in the WiFi Range Extenders & Nighthawk Mesh area, in absence of any product designation - Orbi is rather generic - I've requested a moderator moving your post to the Orbi Wi-Fi 5 (AC) And Orbi With Voice Mesh section to discuss Orbi (RBK10, 20, 30, 40, 40(Voice), and 50 Series) mesh products. Best fit, based on the four year insight.

Might be worth logging in through the GUI and checking that route for the backhaul connection. I've seen several times where the app gets updated and displays wrong.

Also, you might try moving the location of the satellite. Maybe somethings change in the layout to block the signal
