thanks. That solved the problem.
The strange thing is that I accepted the default during the setup, which was to have the passwords for the original and the 2G and 5G be the same. What I discovered is somehow the password for the 5G had been changed so that the first letter was uppercase, rather than lower case. I had not entered this, so I'm not sure how it happened.
